What You'll Do
- Lead and execute all training functions within the Fulfillment Center including New Hire Orientation, Job Function Training, and continuous development.
- Develop culture and standard of training within your location.
- Provide content and training curriculum development, manage priorities, set goals, and provide professional development. Tailor training curriculum to meet site’s nuances and needs while ensuring network-wide standards.
- Strategic Stakeholder management to all levels of management (Supervisor to Director) to keep network initiatives aligned with local sites’ operational & training needs.
- Organize, lead, and develop a team of exceptional and dedicated Training Ambassadors.
- Oversee and own the ‘on the job’ Ambassador Training Program with key focuses on improving safety and retention.
- Partner with Safety and Operations to develop and optimize training materials and processes. Tailor training curriculum to meet site’s nuances and needs while ensuring network-wide standards.
- Record, track, and drive compliance on all training initiatives. Analyze and report out on results to site leadership.
- Lead various training sessions as needed, including but not limited to: New Hire Fundamentals, Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) training, Quality & Process (Current & New SOP) Training.
What You’ll Need
- Demonstrated experience in a training role. You must be able to plan and organize resources to meet the training requirements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication. You must be approachable, hard-working and enthusiastic.
- Leadership and motivational skills, and the ability to make decisions with little to no guidance based on policies or best practices
- This position will require a schedule that aligns with the team and being flexible/adaptable is a must.
- Power Equipment experience – Must be able to operate or willing to be trained on operation of Powered Industrial Vehicles.
- Have strong organizational skills and tireless attention to detail.
- The ability to effectively communicate both up and down all stakeholder levels.
- Be a self-starter and view change as an opportunity to improve.
- Preferred: four year college degree in organizational leadership, project management or management. Operations or Supply Chain experience a plus.
